Sopranos Social Club is a speakeasy approach to enjoying (and learning about) wine. It’s run by the Soffer family who are born and raised in the [x] neighborhood of New Jersey.
Mitch Soffer spent 25 years in the New Jersey Wine Business and now another 20 years here in Sarasota, spread across both the retail and wholesale sides the wine industry. His daughter, Stephanie, Stephanie Soffer is part owner of a wine shop, co-founder of Sopranos, and an award-winning Luxury Realtor®.
Together they created Sopranos Social Club to focus on offering wine fans like you the opportunity to taste some of the world’s greatest cellared wines for those without a wine cellar.
We’re dedicated to promoting a love for wine and offering a welcoming New Jersey environment aand we’re passionate about sharing our wine tasting adventures.

We didn’t open Sopranos to be just another wine bar.
Look around today’s dining scene… it’s loud, rushed, and designed to turn tables, not build relationships. Or they go the opposite direction, so pretentious it practically hurts. Not us. We’re not open to the public for daily use, because we specialize in custom, curated, fulfilling events for specific groups of people who book. We collaborate with chefs from the community, invite warm, kind-hearted wine lovers from the community, and focus on encouraging real, fruitful, high-value connections.
